About THE ULC
Our History
The Unicorn Leaders Cohort (The ULC), inaugurated in March 2021, aims to support women of color pursuing careers in STEM by fostering their growth in leadership, personal, and professional development.
Fellow Expectations
Throughout the 6-month fellowship, fellows will be matched with mentors from The Unicorn Leaders Network, engage in monthly sessions covering leadership, personal, and/or professional development, and tackle monthly challenges aligned with the session themes.
Mentor Expectations
Mentors are expected to meet monthly with their assigned fellow. Mentors are to provide personalized guidance and support, encourage goal setting, share relevant resources, and maintain confidentiality while promoting the fellow's professional growth and development.
